Job Overview
The Logistics/Production Technician is a hands-on, dual-function role that supports both production operations and logistics activities. This position primarily works as a Production Technician while also assisting with packaging, labeling, shipping, and receiving as needed to support daily operations and coverage during peak periods or absences.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and monitor production equipment in accordance with SOPs
- Perform basic troubleshooting, quality checks, and production documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Package and label materials according to customer and internal requirements
- Prepare and stage materials to support production runs and order readiness
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading/unloading and documentation
- Maintain organized inventory and storage areas
- Communicate effectively with Production and Operations teams
- Support cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience
- Shipping and receiving or logistics experience
- Familiarity with packaging, labeling, and inventory processes
- Ability to follow work instructions, SOPs, and safety documentation
