The Maintenance Supervisor is a hands-on role responsible for coordinating daily maintenance activities, supporting equipment reliability, and guiding technicians through safe, effective work practices. This position balances hands-on maintenance with team oversight, troubleshooting, and collaboration with Production leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support maintenance technicians on shift
- Assign and prioritize work orders to support production
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Perform and lead preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
- Communicate equipment status and priorities with Production leadership
- Support equipment startups, changeovers, and installations
- Enforce safety procedures, including LOTO, and promote a strong safety culture
What We’re Looking For
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience
- Proven ability to troubleshoot industrial manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read schematics and maintenance documentation
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
Preferred
- Experience as a Maintenance Lead, Senior Technician, or similar role
- Manufacturing or industrial maintenance background
- Preventative maintenance program experience
- Trade school, technical certifications, or military maintenance experience
