POSITION TITLE: Account Representative
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt/Hourly
COMPENSATION: Base Pay $24-$26 per hour + Bonus Incentive
LOCATION: Cincinnati, Ohio

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the management of sales and relationships with select customers. An Account Representative maintains the company's existing relationships with a client or group of clients, so that they will continue using the company for business. An Account Representative will process the incoming Sales orders, credit cards, and paperwork needed for shipments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities.
- Reliable knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Monthly sales/new customers
- Monthly new leads/prospects
- Number of Shipments per Month
- On-time delivery
- Customer response time
- Become familiar with customer accounts.
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
- Review and enter customer purchase orders; Communicate with Operations regarding lead time; Provide formal order acknowledgement to customers.
- Ensure all documents relating to customer orders are saved digitally and filed according to customer name, order month and purchase order number; Forward all related customer order documents to Operations.
- Process customer credit card payments: Communicate with Accounting regarding customer payments as needed.
- Maintain on-time delivery performance records as well as customer complaint log.
- Prepare daily reports of scheduled outbound customer shipments; Prepare weekly reports of open orders.
- Support the Sales Manager as needed; Provide coverage in the Sales Manager’s absence.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:- 1+ years of Customer Service | Sales experience (Internship/co-op considered)
- Knowledge with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Strong people skills
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively participate in cross functional teams.
