PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The IT Support Specialist reports to our Director of Human Resources and will work with team members throughout all the departments here at Luxfer Magtech helping them with their technical requirements. You will work to maintain, monitor, and improve network security, as well as solve complex technical issues. The successful candidate will be Responsible for hardware support of manufacturing systems and financial applications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for hardware and software maintenance and installation.  This includes, but is not limited to, Windows laptops and workstations, Windows and Linux servers in a hybrid active directory and Microsoft 365 environment.  This position is on the front lines of maintaining the system infrastructure, computer uptime, and user satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Data Analytics – Must be able to understand the business and work with other departments to utilize data to create rich reports and dashboards.
  • BI (Business Intelligence) experience or data analysis a must
  • Document all IT systems and processes in line with CMMC 2.0/NIST 800-171
  • Monitor all users functions across various platforms and networks to protect the integrity of the Infrastructure and Data.
  • Using advanced knowledge of IT systems, plan and execute all necessary upgrades to the Luxfer Networks and infrastructure as well as the global services for all users within the Luxfer Corporation.
  • Maintain the security of the Global Luxfer systems through consistent testing, monitoring, diagnostic procedures, and installation of new protection protocols.
  • Ensure that every user within the Corporation structure has the necessary access for their position.
  • Conduct routine and emergency maintenance on all system elements.
  • Work with other departments to understand business process and find opportunities for innovative solutions to help streamline everyday tasks.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
  • Strong knowledge of Network and Cyber Security a must!
  • Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • An understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks. SOX, NIST, CMMC.
  • 1-2+ years overall network administration experience managing enterprise network.
  • Create Presentations for training purposes or otherwise and confidently deliver them to a wide audience.
  • Must also have experience (or education) in hardware, networking, Microsoft software, and Office 365 setup and maintenance.
  • Must be patient, conscientious, independent, productive, and have a strong customer service orientation.
  • Highly self-motivated and driven
  • Knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls, and TCP/IP.
