Position Summary

Luxfer Magtech is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer College Intern to support our Saxonburg, PA facility. This internship provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to key business functions such as Human Resources, operations, safety, and administrative support.

This is an excellent opportunity for a current college student to gain real-world experience, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop professional skills in a dynamic and team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
  • Support HR initiatives such as recruiting, onboarding, and employee engagement activities
  • Help organize and maintain employee records and documentation
  • Participate in safety and training initiatives
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and process improvement projects
  • Provide general support across departments as needed
  • Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative
